A natural lagoon in Masuda City that is dammed up by sand dunes blown up by the wind from the Sea of Japan. It is said that Tadayasu YAMAJI, a poet of Chinese poetry, named it “Banryu Lake” because of the mysterious complicated lakeshore line like a dragon winding. It is also a mysterious lake that has no rivers to go in and out of.
